Adrion Perez
Former Federal Funds Recovery Coordinator & Capital Projects Fund Manager
Adrion Perez is formerly a Federal Funds Recovery Coordinator & Capital Projects Fund Manager for the New Jersey Governor’s Disaster Recovery Office, from January 2022 to May 2023. Adrion served in this role during two active Presidential declarations of a major disaster for the State (COVID-19 and Remnants of Hurricane Ida) and coordinated recovery funds totaling more than $100 billion, proposing use strategies that conjoined equity, policy, and resiliency goals. Adrion also developed disasterhelp.nj.gov, New Jersey’s first one-stop directory of recovery resources for residents, small businesses, and local governments. Prior to joining the Governor’s Office, Adrion served as Disaster Recovery Specialist with the United States Small Business Administration, Office of Disaster Recovery & Resilience. In volunteer experiences, Adrion was deployed in response to COVID-19 by the American Red Cross, donated over 500 hours of service to the Liberty Science Center as a STEM ambassador, and participated in multiple mass-casualty incident drills led by the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey.
