Angelina Hodges Gott is an accomplished attorney and strategic leader with more than 15 years of experience in environmental law, regulatory compliance, and federal grants management. She served as Assistant Regional Counsel with the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s Office of Regional Counsel in Dallas, where she provided expert legal counsel on programs administering over $1 billion in federal grant funds annually including initiatives advancing environmental and climate resiliency.
Widely recognized for her legal expertise, Hodges Gott has led negotiations in complex enforcement matters, represented the EPA in high-stakes litigation, and served as principal attorney on groundbreaking initiatives. She has also been a trusted advisor in ethics counseling and a contributor to national EPA workgroups on environmental justice and property disposition.
Hodges Gott’s work has earned her more than ten federal honors, including the Silver Medal for Superior Service, multiple Bronze Medals for Commendable Service, and a Federal Executive Board Public Service Award.
A graduate of Texas Tech University School of Law, where she earned her J.D. cum laude and specialized in environmental law, Hodges Gott also holds a Master of Applied Geography from Texas State University and a Bachelor of Environmental Studies and Political Science from Baylor University. She began her legal career at Locke Lord LLP, where she focused on environmental compliance, due diligence, and enforcement defense.
