Robert McCracken serves as the Energy Manager in the City of Cincinnati’s Office of Environmental & Sustainability. His work focuses on implementing the climate action goals contained in the Green Cincinnati Plan by procuring renewable sources of energy, advancing efforts to improve the energy efficiency of the city’s building stock, and transitioning to a zero-emission fleet. In addition, he is leading the City’s efforts to leverage the elective pay benefit and to develop programs to utilize Solar for All funds. Prior to joining the City, he served as the Director of Operations for the Greater Cincinnati Energy Alliance where he designed and led programs to promote energy efficiency and renewable energy in residential and commercial buildings. He has a Bachelor of Arts from Duke University and a Master of Public Affairs from the O’Neill School of Public and Environmental Affairs at Indiana University.
