Heather Repenning serves as Executive Officer of Sustainability Policy at LA Metro, where she helps direct a team focused on reducing climate emissions and supporting sustainable communities at an agency serving a population of 10 million and investing $52 billion throughout LA County in transportation infrastructure.
Repenning also serves as the Vice Chair for Climate Action on the Board of Directors of the Metropolitan Water Agency, which supplies water to 26 member agencies in Southern California.
Previously, Repenning was the Vice President of the City of Los Angeles Board of Public Works, overseeing the Department of Public Works’ management of solid resources, wastewater, stormwater, urban canopy, streets and design and construction of public facilities.
Heather graduated Phi Beta Kappa from Swarthmore College and holds a Master’s Degree from the University of California, Irvine.
