Kim Lundgren is the founder and CEO of Kim Lundgren Associates, Inc. (KLA), an award-winning, woman-owned benefit corporation that partners with local governments to turn climate ambition into measurable results. Kim has spent the last 25 years doing the work on the ground with hundreds of local governments across the country. She wrote the first climate action plan in Massachusetts in 2001, served as one of the first municipal sustainability directors in the country, and developed one of the country’s earliest municipal climate adaptation plans. As an early climate action solutionist, Kim is known for cutting through jargon and helping communities reach beyond the choir to engage the people who haven’t yet shown up. She is a hands-on facilitator and strategist focused on high-impact action, equitable engagement, and the metrics that prove it’s working.
