
Yey Morales (they/them) is a Program Coordinator for the City of San Diego’s Division of Race and Equity, housed within the Human Resources Department. Yey received a Master’s degree from UCLA in Higher Education and Organizational Change, and a double Bachelor’s degree from UCSD in Ethnic Studies and Urban Studies & Planning. They previously led the Youth Services Team at The San Diego LGBT Community Center and served as Assistant Dean of Students and Director of Student Life, Diversity, and Leadership for Claremont Graduate University. Yey has a passion for promoting consciousness around systemic racism and gender inclusivity. As a queer, non-binary/trans masc, Latine person, Yey is deeply dedicated to knowledge sharing and collaborating in equity work that can create meaningful systemic change.
