Hanqing Pan is an Assistant Professor-In-Residence at the Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry at University of Nevada, Las Vegas. Her primary focus is teaching undergraduate chemistry courses and upper-division analytical chemistry courses. She obtained her B.S., M.S., and Ph.D. in chemistry, where her expertise lies in using photo- and electrocatalysis using renewable energy to drive chemical reactions to make synthetic fuels. Her current work focuses on environmental remediation of water and soil. Her role at UNLV has deepened her commitment to educating both students and the broader public on pressing environmental issues.
